I will be doing a speech at a Toastmasters club tonight on one of my early stories as a new drug rep many years ago. It will feature one of the first drugs I sold and how I turned around an important doctor who was originally very resistant in using this drug due to side effects. I will also illustrate the basic workings of pharmaceutical sales for the audience who will likely not be knowledgeable about the industry. It will give them some idea of what a drug rep does.
