If you are planning to network with pharmaceutical sales representatives in your area, they will be around but keep in mind that this will be a busy time of year for them. They will be trying to make extra sales calls to doctors and pharmacies in order to maximize sales quotas for the year. So don’t be surprised if they are not as receptive to networking during this time. They will usually wind down during the last two weeks of December when the pharmaceutical sales industry is pretty dead. After New Year is a good time to meet up with them again for networking.
