Pharmaceutical Sales Drug Representative Jobs Blog

I presented a talk on diversity skills to an executive networking group this morning and one attendee from the meeting asked me about the pharmaceutical industry afterwards.  He was already in mid career in marketing in another industry and wanted to know if he has any chances of getting into pharmaceutical marketing.  I told him that for this industry, one usually needs pharmaceutical sales experience before getting into a marketing position.  So he would have to be willing to get into pharmaceutical sales for a few years before being considered for a marketing position. The pharmaceutical industry is one of the fields where they do prefer this particular career path to marketing.  He didn’t know much about this field so I suggested that he take my free 30 minute webinar on pharmaceutical sales careers to see if the field interests him.
